  1. F-4M is a redesigned version with Rolls-Royce Spey turbofan engines, whose great power is largely dissipated by increased aircraft drag.  Flown by the Royal Air Force, it carries no cannon and is being replaced by the Tornado ADV.  [See also F-4C]
